San Juan
In June, the patron saint festivities are celebrated in honor of San Juan Bautista, in which the Catral women wear a nineteenth-century Huertano gala outfit.
They are the local Patron Saint festivities. They coincide with the first days of summer and the Holidays are organized by the City Council.
They are very participatory festivities where the whole town participate, from children to adults, in various and varied celebrations. They usually begin with the Crowning of the Party Queens, in a spectacular and ceremonial gala.
It is remarkable the day of the popular Cavalcade, where Las Peñas and the neighborhoods of the town participate, with the most fun and surprising costumes. It is usually celebrated on Saturday before San Juan.
